1920's Woven Native American Basket
A small 1920s woven basket with a tight weave and a dark geometric band running through it. It has that straightforward, functional quality you see in older Native American basketry — made to be useful, but made well. Pieces this scale always appeal to us; the workmanship is clear and the patterning does its job without fuss.
We chose this one because it brings a grounded bit of craft into the mix. Nothing showy, just honest weaving with a design that still reads cleanly a century on — the sort of piece you immediately understand once it’s in your hands.
