1930's Egyptian Revival Panel of Ra-Horakhty
The falcon head and sun disc give this one away — it’s Ra-Horakhty, a mash-up of Ra (the sun god) and Horus (sky god), representing power and renewal. He’s shown in a classic striding pose, holding a staff, with stylised lotus flowers beneath.
The style’s very much of the Egyptian Revival era, probably made in the 1930s or so, with bold colours stitched onto cotton or linen. Decorative, graphic, and made for display — not too serious, but definitely striking.
