1930's Italian Cast Bronze Devotional Frame
A small cast-bronze frame from early-20th-century Turin, stamped Brev·To — short for Brevettato Torino, meaning the design was registered there.
These were made for devotional prints or tiny icons, often kept on a bedside table or packed for travel. The grape and wheat detail ties to the Eucharist, and on the back you can still see the marks from where it was cast and the little latch that once held its image in place.
A modest, everyday object of faith — beautifully made and still carrying that quiet history.
