1960's Italian Playing Card Glass Pot
£35.00Price
Thick, olive-green glass with a face pressed straight into it — one of a small series made in Italy in the ’60s and ’70s, thought to take cues from playing cards and theatre masks.
Likely from the Empoli region, where that deep green glass and slightly primitive moulding were the look of the time.
Solid, characterful, and a bit surreal — part vessel, part sculpture, depending how you use it.
