19th C Hand-Forged Iron Scoop

Long-handled forged iron scoop with a simple hanging hook and deep oval bowl.
 
The sort of thing made purely for use, with no real thought given to whether it would still look good a century or two later. Smooth worn iron throughout, slightly uneven shaping, and a handle long enough to suggest it lived close to heat for most of its life.
 
Looks like it spent about 150 years hanging beside a fireplace, which it probably did.
 
Condition: Excellent - wear and patination consistent with age and use
