British Studio Pottery Bowl
A lovely example of British studio pottery, this small bowl features expressive brushwork in rich brown over a speckled glaze, with a strong foot and slightly flared rim.
The mark on the base appears to be a stylised "C" and "J", and the overall style bears a close resemblance to the work of Chris Jenkins - known for his gestural decoration and traditional forms.
Likely made in the UK, possibly the south of England, around the later part of the 20th century. A nicely balanced piece.
