Brutalist 'Droplet' Terracotta Vase

Found in Puglia, this small hand-formed vessel was fired in the old way — open flame and low oxygen giving the terracotta its deep black tone.
 
The raised droplet markings were pressed in by hand before firing, adding a rough, tactile rhythm to the surface.
 
Likely made mid-century in a rural workshop, it’s the kind of everyday piece shaped from local clay, blackened by smoke, and carried forward simply because it worked.
 
Condition: Good - some minor nicks
