Dicker Ware Black Lustre Bowls
Made in the wonderfully named Lower Dicker, Sussex, these little bowls date from the 1920s–30s — when Dicker Ware was producing some of its more experimental art pottery.
And these are particularly good. Deep black lustre, flashes of bronze where the glaze catches the light, and those brilliant oversized handles sweeping almost unnecessarily across the bowl.
Nearly a century old and somehow not looking particularly bothered by it.
Available individually, as a pair, or as the full set of four.
