Early 20th Century Boxing Printing Block
A knockout little relic from the golden age of print. This original letterpress block features a classic punching bag — finely detailed and etched in copper, then mounted on a solid hardwood base.
Likely used for a catalogue, advert or sports feature, it’s a great example of how illustrations were transferred to the page before digital took over. The copper plate hints at quality: tougher, sharper, and built to last through a flurry of impressions.
