An extraordinary sculptural bowl formed from a continuous spiral of dark, hand-worked iron, gradually descending towards its centre.
The roughly hammered edges and beautifully uneven surface contrast with three polished metal feet, each ending in a delicate curl. Two small markings on the uppermost ring may be the maker's signature.
A bowl that appears to have forgotten most of what makes something a bowl. All the better for it.
