Mexican Copper and Brass Framed Tile by Gene Byron
£95.00Price
We've stumbled across Gene Byron's work a few times over the years, and it's something we rarely leave behind.
Born in Canada before settling in Guanajuato, Mexico, Byron became known for bringing painting, furniture, lighting and decorative arts into the same creative conversation. Working alongside local craftspeople, she developed a distinctive visual language that continues to feel remarkably fresh.
The hand-painted bird tile is wonderfully simple, while the copper and brass frame gives it just enough presence. Cheerful without being overly decorative—a combination Byron seemed to get exactly right.
