Made in Cologne by Töpferkunst Benrath, this hand-thrown stoneware piece has a natural, pressed form with a wide spout and offset handle. The surface carries a soft ash glaze with muted tonal shifts, and the spout appears shaped directly by hand, giving it an almost sculpted quality.
Found somewhere between a vessel and a piece of sculpture, it captures that mid-century moment when function and form were treated with equal care.
