Mid Century Amazigh Silver and Enamel Bracelet Box & Cuff

A cylindrical hinged form that opens as a small lidded container and, with the pin removed, becomes a cuff. Hand-worked silver with applied wire detail and geometric enamel panels in red, blue and green — the construction slightly irregular in the way that tells you it was made, not machine-pressed.
 
These were traditionally worn as jewellery but designed with utility in mind. Ornament and object in one. The lid lifts cleanly, the mechanism still intact, the enamel worn just enough to show age without losing its pattern.
