Mid Century Malachite Mosaic Bowl

A bowl that somehow manages to be both geology and decoration at the same time.
 
Made from polished fragments of malachite set within a brass-rimmed form, each piece reveals its own bands, swirls and occasional eye-like patterns. The different shades of green shift across the surface, from deep emerald tones to softer turquoise hues, creating something that feels almost landscape-like when viewed from above.
 
We were particularly taken by the scale. Small enough to sit almost anywhere, but with enough colour and pattern to catch your attention every time you walk past it. One of those pieces that doesn't really need a job description, although it would happily hold jewellery, keys or absolutely nothing at all.
