Mid Century Spanish "Tenedor" Forming Block
Originally made for shaping lunch forks, the curved channel across the top corresponds to the profile needed to bend the metal during production. The stamp is practical and direct — product, standard, weight — nothing decorative about it.
Removed from the workshop, it reads differently. Solid steel, softened edges, that deep industrial grey. The negative curve across the top gives it a surprisingly architectural feel — somewhere between factory equipment and small brutalist sculpture.
It once helped make something delicate. Now it just sits there, quietly heavy.
Forks were the output. This is the leftover.
