Gus Roy (1944–2024) was a London-based artist and sculptor known for his diverse artistic pursuits. Throughout his life, he embraced various roles, including wrestler, chef, comedian, and actor, but his passion for art remained a constant.
 
Hannah Roy-Davies described her father as "a very eccentric man" who "loved every piece of his own work for all very different reasons." She highlighted his late-life interest in sculpting and his passion for wood carvings and re-upholstering furniture in his unique style.
