Pair of Vintage Oak Weighted Candle Stands
A pair of oak candle stands that feel closer to small pieces of furniture than anything decorative.
Solid timber, weighted through the base with an inset steel plate, and drilled across the top to take a mix of candle sizes — so clearly made to be used rather than just looked at. The darkened edges and burn marks around the wells are all from that use, built up over time rather than added afterwards.
They sit somewhere between Arts & Crafts and Brutalist influence. No ornament, no softening — just material, weight, and a slightly overbuilt feel that we always end up going for.
Condition: Excellent - burn marks consistent with age and use
