Sculptural Heads by Maurizio Dusio
A series of four small sculptural heads by Italian artist Maurizio Dusio, individually modelled and finished with a dark metallic surface and subtle golden highlights.
Dusio is an Italian artist and sculptor whose work explores the human figure, symbols and simplified, often primitive forms.
Two have their eyes obscured by heavily textured bands; the other two are pierced with a single aperture. Similar at first glance, each is slightly different in form, surface and expression.
Four heads. Not a great deal of eye contact.
