A rather handsome little ashtray carved from solid travertine, with a deep circular bowl and a pleasing arrangement of intersecting grooves.
Its geometric design recalls the Italian stone accessories produced by Fratelli Mannelli during the 1970s. Beautifully simple, with all the little imperfections and natural markings that make travertine so appealing.
Smoking may have fallen out of fashion, but thankfully good design hasn't.
