A small Indian carved-wood duck with a rattan-bound body, made as a simple trinket box. The wood has that lightly worked, folk-art feel, with the rattan pulling the two halves together in a way that’s both practical and decorative.
We chose it for the charm in that mix of materials — nothing precious, just an everyday object with a bit of character and handwork. A nice, easy piece to add into a shelf or desk without overthinking it.
