Vintage Indian Lota Style Vessels
A graduated set of small Indian water vessels that have clearly seen a bit of life.
Traditional lota-style forms — rounded bodies with short necks — originally made for everyday use, now finished in a worn, silvery surface that’s broken up over time into something much more interesting than when it was new. You can still see the underlying warmth of the metal coming through in places, which keeps them from feeling too polished or decorative.
We kept them together for the scale. Three is just better — a bit more considered, a bit less accidental. They work as a group on a shelf or table, or split up if you’re feeling less committed.
