Vintage Mexican Terracotta Tree of Life
A vintage Mexican Tree of Life, but in a much more stripped-back palette than you usually see — simple terracotta tones, paired-down shapes, and none of the bright painted detail these are often known for. Traditionally, Trees of Life are made as symbolic pieces celebrating creation, growth, and everyday life, usually bursting with colour and decoration.
We liked this one because it goes the other way. It keeps the core idea — the branching form and the handmade character — but without the usual overload of motifs. It feels more direct, more about the clay and the making, and it fits the quieter end of our grid really well.
