Vintage Jemez Pueblo Indian Pottery Bowl
The Jemez Pueblo are one of the 19 remaining tribes located in New Mexico, USA. The surname signed on the piece 'Chinana' is often associated with this tribe.
The piece depics a pueblo as well as other vibrantly coloured objects often seen in Pueblo artwork. It is mostly likely a souvenir piece to help raise money for the people that live within the Pueblo.
We had the extraordinary opportunity to visit the Taos Pueblo in New Mexico, a magical, edicational, and humbling experience.
