Vintage Spanish Hand Made Bowl
It was the rustic tactility (big words we know) of this piece that drew us to it - with its simplistic geometric design.
Dating back to the late mid 20th century, this piece come from the Canary Islands - likely made for tourists to bring home, giving a piece of traditional pottery from the area. The uneveness of the piece, tool marks, and imperfect markings on the bottom, suggest a hand made artisan piece, versus anything mass produced.
Likely intended as a food dish - we know it's the wrong side of the world, but perfect for some guacamole! Perfect shelf top addition in any kitchen.
